Saturday afternoon we said goodbye to our special little girl, Chevy.  She fought a brave battle against her failing kidneys, but in the end, her body just couldn't fight anymore.  She was 15 years old, but to us, she'll always be a young, feisty, playful girl who loved to yodel for her treats.  Her short, stubby tail was affectionately known as the *butt-finger* and she had the cutest darn *airplane ears* and would let 'em fly quite often.  She was the mascot at many greyhound Show & Tells and she taught quite a few greyhounds the fine art of biscuit-begging (of course, she would do all the work while they just laid around and reaped the benefits!).  She was the one who picked Tinsel to be her greyhound buddy, and we were ever so thankful that she did.  They made quite an odd pair, but they loved to play and chase each other around, Chevy barking at Tinsel the entire time.

We miss her terribly and although she's leaving a void in our lives, she'll live on in our hearts.
