Here are our dogs who have found new homes.

SUNSHINE, German Shepherd, Female
Sunshine is a one year old female
German Shepherd. This smallish Sheppie girl is very active and friendly. She gets along with other dogs, and would make a fine companion for a neutered male dog. Sunshine smiles when she sees you coming...which we're sure her new family will adore!

BOSCO, Basset Hound, Male
Bosco is a purebred male BASSET HOUND
about 18 months old. VERY friendly and loving. Likes his belly rubs and enjoys other dogs but mostly people! We would love to place this boy with a family to play with. Bosco now has a family to love!

TITA, Cattle Dog Mix, Female
I am about 8 or 9 mos old and a female Cattle dog mix. VERY friendly medium sized dog with a great personality, and very loving. She gets along with other dogs and would be fine with a neutered male. A Great family dog with a nice attitude. Very pretty coat and sweet eyes. Tita now has a fun new home!

TERRI, Shizu-Lhasa Apso, Female
Terri is an adult male Shizu x Lhasa Apso cross. This boy is shy and unsure of people, but he has not expressed any aggression, or depression, only that he is clueless. He is active, however, and would make a good walking companion. Terri has spent most of his life in a kennel, he needs to have a person to teach him, be gentle with him, and with some TLC and training he will become a handsome, beautifully coated companion. Terri now has a new home.

ROHAN, Toy Poodle, Male
Rohan is a two year old purebred
red TOY POODLE. Friendly, handsome, small and ready for a home! This young guy gets along with other dogs, is probably not a problem for a cat, and likes people. He has never been around young children. He is crate trained, and scheduled. His mom became ill and had to move into a different situation so she relinquished her little guy to rescue. Neutered, micro chipped, healthy and clipped for summer. Rohan has a great new family!

TINKERBELL, Terrier Mix, Female
Tink is a female terrier mix, probably terri-poo. She is about 12 lbs, and fully grown. Not a barker, she gets along with other dogs, and is sweet with people.She is a small girl with a scruffy but soft, slightly brindled coat. Under a year old, she was found in a city shelter wearing her own pink tinker bell on her collar. How very sad. And how very cute.

Tink now has a wonderful new home.

POOKIE, Minature Poodle Mix, Male
Pookie is a miniature poodle mix, about 7 months old. He was brought in by a member of the Gas Co in Redlands. This dog was found on their property and had been abandoned for some time. They fed him, but became concerned for his welfare when it was clear that he was an abandoned dog, and then because it appeared that he had become injured.

After shearing off the lifetime of very dirty dreadlocks, (he looked like an aged sheep when he was carried in), we were shocked to discover a very young, very agreeable dog with a number of coyote bites on his neck, stomach, and rear. He had many bad bruises but his thick matted coat saved him from even worse damage. He had pretty much given up and was in considerable pain.

He is the top end of a miniature poodle, which makes him a medium sized dog. Pure white with the cutest black spots (similar to a dalmation) on his coat. He has a cute black patch over one of his eyes. In a month or so he will be fuzzy again.

Pookie now has a new home and a new life.
Thanks to the good hearts at this workplace, this is the second dog they have saved, and supported.

EVELYN, English Bulldog, Female
Evie is a 1 year old OLDE ENGLISH BULLDOGGE lady. Very pleasant temperament, she likes people a lot, and is responsive to them. She can become aggressive towards other dogs she does not know. She is gorgeous, huge, and really a nice example of her breed. Evie has a great new home!

RUFF, BRUSSELS GRIFFON, Male
Ruff is an adult male purebred Brussels Griffon. He says this: I am a very handsome and gentle guy. Not suitable for young children, I think they would scare me, but okay for older or adult. I am a small dog. I get along with other animals, and am not a barker. My ears and tail have been clipped. I now have a dignified home - which I have agreed to protect.

JACK WALKER, Coohound, Male
Jack is a year old neutered male COONHOUND. He is quieter than most and a supremely handsome dog. Tri-colored and stunning. Coonhounds make wonderful family pets. Friendly, active and curious. This short coated dog makes an excellent house dog. Jack now has a great new home!

COLIN and SHAMUS, Irish Terriers
Colin and Shamus are purebred m IRISH TERRIERS - littermates they are 10 weeks old as of 3-13. They are not being placed as a pair.

Handsome, brave, and very terrier-ish,
these two youngsters will be neutered before they go to their adopted homes. Both Colin and Shamus have wonderful new homes!

SONNY, Labrador Retriever, Female
Sonny Parker is a 2 year old s/female AKC purebred LABRADOR RETRIEVER. She is a very special dog. For one, Sonny is totally ball crazy. Her ball drive would make her a good candidate for bomb or search training. She carries them everywhere and becomes agitated when they are not near her. She is possessive of her toys, but will allow you near her mouth when she has one. She loves water and will retrieve from it. She has had every wellness exam known to man and her hips have been x-rayed as normal. She has healthy ears. She has been well cared for but her mom could not keep up with her.
Sonny now has a great new home.

BUDDY, Queensland Heeler Mix, Male
Buddy is a 1 1/2 year old male QUEENSLAND HEELER mix. VERY playful, funny, cheerful and loving. Neutered, chipped and shots.

I am the funniest boy at the kennel.
I have been displaced by the recent fires and have no home to go back to. I have been well loved and will return the same.
If you are looking for a "barrel of monkeys" type of personality..I'm your guy. I LOVE to have fun, and I very much enjoy the company of people.

Jack, Beagle, Male
My name is JACK, I am 2-3 years old and I came from a shelter in the high desert. I am a quiet Beagle, and very sweet. I would love to have a secure yard. ( Beagles are brilliant a getting out and we LOVE to roam) I'd also like a bunch of kids to play with. I get along with other dogs. I would love to come inside at night and snuggle close to my people. I promise not to change the remote control.
Jack now has a new home.

FERGIE, Terrier, Female
Fergie is a 6 mo-old Terrier mix. The shelter had her as a pit mix, or as a Whippet mix or as a Greyhound mix—they were wrong on all three tries. She is small, and stocky, but not bully. She's pretty basically a mixed breed dog only medium sized at best. Friendly, playful and rambunctious. Fergie now has a new home to romp in!

COOKIE, Chihuahua, Female
Cookie is a very small female CHIHIHUA
9 mos old. I came from a family that let their dog have puppies and then decided that they had too many dogs. I am sweet, small and come up to people. I get along with other dogs and cats would not be an issue. Very pretty, Cookie is a real Chi...and now she has a real home.

Mr Cute, Chihuahua, Male
You get to name him anything you want. Mr. Cute is a young (under one year old) male Chihuahua. He's possibly one of the friendliest chi's we have ever had, and a gorgeous color.  These ears are enormous, and lovely.  Gets along with everyone and loves people. How cute is this guy?

SHASTA, White GSD, Female

Shasta is a beautiful White German Shepherd. She's about two years old. As you can see, she is simply lovely. Shasta is a gorgeous young lady, ready to give a family a lifetime of love, loyalty, and protection. That's what Shepherds do, and they do it well.

Her Story:
Shasta's owner has pancreatic cancer and has only a few months to live. He has asked us to please find a loving home for his dogs.

ANIBEL, WALKER COONHOUND, Female
Ani is a purebred female WALKER COONHOUND, about 2-3 years old. She is very sweet, quiet, and gets along with everyone. Found in a shelter by Basset rescue, nursed back to health and sent here for your viewing and taking home enjoyment. She is a simply beautiful girl who has already had at least one litter of puppies. Very nice family dog. She now has a new home...hopefully, forever.

THOMAS THE LUMP, Shep Mix, Male
Thomas is Justine's puppy. He's a 9 week old (3-13) Shep x puppy male. He is called the lump because he was the only pup and ate himself into a stupor. He never had to move.

Thomas is going to be a huge dog. He is quite handsome and his mother has a delightful friendly temperament. Thankfully, Thomas has a wonderful new home.

Son of a Sailor, Long-haired Dachshund, Male
Son is a 3 year old purebred, long-haired standard Dachshund boy. He is friendly and very handsome. He will probably chase your cat. Son would be fine with older kids. Just remember, he is an "earth dog" and if you have a priceless collection of tulip bulbs, he is not an appropriate breed for you. Dachshunds love to dig - especially if you have gophers. Son is a loving dog, and very intelligent. His beautiful coat will need grooming, and on a leash, he will have his nose to the ground, but he will be a gentleman. Son has a great new home.

PEPPER
8 month old LABRADOR RETRIEVER mix
Pepper's mom had a litter of puppies at the construction site of a Chilis restaurant. His mom was called Chili Dog and we placed her and all of her puppies. This youngster has come back, his mom and dad are getting a divorce and he cannot go with either one of them...bummer.

He is friendly, playful, and of course, rambunctious...he's a labby dog. He will benefit from obedience training and so will you, and he will make an ideal family dog. Pepper found his second chance with a a new family.

ROCKY, GSD/Malinois Mix, Male
Rocky is a 10 month old male, mostly Malinois Shepherd. He is what happens when a young active dog, does not have attention and is not neutered. Dad says, the dog is getting into too much trouble, he has to go now! So, Rocky is here. Rocky is sweet, handsome, and very trainable. He needs attention and a secure yard, and a family that understands the needs of this breed. He is intelligent and sensitive with a lot of potential. This is not a good dog for turning loose in a back yard and forgetting. He is much too valuable as a companion. Rocky has a great new home to protect!

BEAR, Shepherd Mix, Male
This handsome male dog is about 10 months old. He came from a group of 300 dogs rescued from a hoarder in Lancaster.
Many of these dogs were not socialized, many were sick, many were aggressive.... but not Bear. While he is shy with strangers, (he has not had any training or experience), his first trip to Petco, where he is pictured here, went well. He is curious, calm, quiet and loving. He responds to people and wags his tail. He enjoys attention and is not dog aggressive. He put his head up for everyone to pet. This dog will make an excellent family pet. Bear has a great new home.

Suzette, Chihuahua Mix, Female
I am a year old female Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is very friendly and very playful and loving. I arrived full of puppies, but they are in their own homes now and I need to be someone's special girl. Everyone at the kennel loves me and I love them also. I now have a new home - Yay!

BROWNIE, Chihuahua Mix, Male
Brownie is a 2 to 3 year old male
Chihuahua X Terrier mix. He likes people, and other dogs, would be a great companion for a family with size restrictions. Found running in a street, and unclaimed. This little guy needs attention and a secure yard. He has ears that go up and then drop forward, and a slight overbite, it gives him a stern look. He is actually waggily-tailed and friendly. Brownie has a great new home - complete with boys!

Cinnamon, Generic Brown Dog, Female
My name is CINNAMON ( or CINDY for short)
I am a young adult, probably less than one year old. I was found wandering in the desert outside of a Joshua Tree campground. I came into the campground, and laid down and could not get up, I was so tired, and hungry. A lady from Montana, who was camping, found me and fed me for several days and I got friendlier. She says I was very afrid of other dogs, but that is because I was in "season" newly pregnant, and probably had been chased by many dogs and coyotes. I am at the kennel now with a young Coonhound, named Patches, and we are fine roomates. next week I will be spayed, so I will not have puppies. I am too young.

I am a Generic brown dog, and no one really know what I am, except that I am not a pit bull, Doberman or Rottweiler. I am definitely not a sight hound. I have the skull and coloring but not the stature or ridge of a Rhodesian. I am very sweet, and coming out of my frightened shell very nicely. I am about 35 lbs and full grown by now. I now have a great new home.

HOPE, Boxer Mix, Female
I am a young adult Boxer X Retriever
female about 1 year old at most.
I was found in a street, standing, wondering where I was. A neighbor gave me some food and encouraged me to go and find my puppies..it was clear that I had just recently given birth, (within the last couple of days).
I did not understand where I was, so I stayed there. Three days later, they took me to a rescue, it was clear to all that my puppies were gone,( I don't know what happened to them), and I was dumped. I don't know why, either, there was so much I did not know. I was terrified, but the people who found me were kind, and now I have a real new home! Imagine that.

SONNY, Lab Mix, Male
Sonny is a 4 month old lab mix male/n puppy. Found in the S.Los Angeles shelter at age of 10 weeks with a runny nose, and not feeling well at all, he has been nursed back to puppy health. Sonny is friendly, playful and can rough and tumble with bigger dogs. He will be a medium sized dog and should have a great bark when he is grown. He likes people a lot, and is a handsome young boy. Sonny has a great new home.

PUPCAKE, Bussels Griffon, Female
Pupcake is a 3-4 year old female purebred BRUSSELS GRIFFON. She arrived with a bad case of mange which her two pups did not survive. She has been treated and is quite well now, looking and feeling so much better.
She is a little shy, but enjoys being on a lap. She is a wonderful little dog for someone who wants a very unusual and sweet lap companion. Pupcake has a great new home.

Dulce, Chihuahua, Female
My name is DULCE and I am about 2 years old and an unusual brindle colored CHIHIHUA. My kids are also here, and they are about 8 or 9 mos old. Our family turned all of us in at the same time because they let me have puppies and then they had too many doggies.

I am VERY sweet, a little bigger than my daughter Cookie, but I love to be held and you can even turn me upside down! Hopefully my new family wont' do that too often!

DEPUTY DAWG, Basset Hound, Male
Deputy is a 3 year old neutered male purebred BASSET HOUND. Very friendly, snuggly, and nicely mannered. We do not know if he has ever lived with young children
This is a nice boy and a breed that is usually very family friendly...and, of course, big eyed, and handsome. Deput will be patrolling in his new home, now.

LITTLE PATSY, Chihuahua Mix, Female
Patsy is a 3 year old spayed terrier Chihuahua mix. She is a small dog, about 10/12 pounds and has been around older kids and other dogs. She really likes people, and begs to be picked up. She is not a big barker and likes the company of other dogs. Cats would not be a problem for this little black girl with the sweet eyes and imploring face. Patsy would LOVE for someone to pick her up...and someone did! Patsy has a great new home.

Dotty, Rat Terrier, Female
My name is Dotty and I am about 3 years old. I am a Rat Terrier female. I got into some really BIG trouble! I ran out the front door, and into the street, and a car hit another car to avoid me and then the second car came up into my Mom and Dad's yard and hit their car. You can imagine what Dad said! Mom cried... but here I am looking for a new home. I'm small, friendly and very cute. Oh yes, and pretty fast.
Say, I even have a new home, now!

DONNA BARKER, Beagle Mix, Female
1 year old Beagle X Doxie female
VERY sweet, gets along with other dogs, and is quite small, about 12 lbs. She is the color of a nicely toasted English muffin, and just as nice. Cute cowlick on her face and funny short legs. She has a nice tail wag, we like those a lot.
Sweet big brown eyes, soft drop ears and a nice temperment. Donna was out of time in the shelter...but now she has a great new home.

YOGI, POMERANIAN, Male
AKC registered purebred 3 year old
male/neutered POMERANIAN
about 14 lbs and full of himself ! This is a friendly, active dog that has been kept outside in a kennel all of his life. He needs attention and some training, and a secure yard. He used to wander from his former home, and his owners did not try to train him. He would be a wonderful dog to take to obedience classes, he will shine. Yogi needs a family who would like to start over again with him, he's ready for fun. He has a beautiful coat and will require grooming. Yogi has a great new home!

SCHULTZIE, Doxie Mix, Male

DOXIE X terrier mix. Cute short legs and drop ears, this is a sweet natured dog about 12 lbs. What a perfect pet for an older home, or for someone with size restrictions. No real issues we have noticed, and he has not been barking. He comes to the front of the run when people enter. He is a nice little yellow pup looking for a forever home. He was abandoned at a veterinarian's office. Schultzie has a wonderful new home!

My name is Ginger and I am a 3 year old AKC registered German Shepherd female. My mom and dad are directly from Germany. I like people a lot and I will need training and a secure yard. I am very beautiful and intelligent and sensitive. I would be best as an only dog and no young children please. Older ones will be fine.

I am the real deal for a family looking for a fine purebred companion animal that strangers will think twice about coming into the yard with.

I now have real home to protect!

AMERICAN FOXHOUND. He is a large dog, active, friendly, loving and athletic.
Hunter came in with his sister Bailey, their family is getting a divorce and cannot keep the dogs. Both dogs are sad, they are used to living with kids and smaller dogs. Hunter is gorgeous...and he has a great home.

My name is BAILEY and I am also a 2 year old AKC registered female AMERICAN FOXHOUND. At this age I have already had a litter of puppies, and I am a little overweight. I am VERY sweet, quiet and sad to be here. I miss my family. I have lived with kids and smaller dogs. I now have a new home.

SUNSHINE, Whippet Mix, Female
Sunshine is a female WHIPPET mix about 5 months old. What's she mixed with? We don't really know. But it is not something large, or cranky. She is a sweet, friendly, loves-everyone type of girl. She likes kids and other dogs. She has never seen a cat, but she could be trained. Sunny is adorable, and will not be large. Intelligent and responsive, she should be in a home, not a shelter or rescue. Sunshine now has a home to brighten up.

My name is Nova and I am a 1 1/2 year old PUGGLE. I came from a pet shop when I was a puppy but my mom is having surgery and cannot take care of me any longer.

I am spayed, have nice manners, and would love to live with a nice family. I love attention, walking and would be fine with older kids. I am 18 lbs and have been spayed and will be microchipped. I now have a great new home.

I am a 18 month old female purebred MALTESE girl. I have already had puppies, but I do not know where they are, they went to other homes and now I am in a rescue, waiting for a new home. I am a little shy and very sweet. I am a quiet girl and I get along with other nice gods. I have been bullied by other dogs so I like to be around sweet ones, like me. I would be fine with older kids but not young children. perfect for me would be a home with a lot of time to give me TLC. Are you lonely? So am I.

Andrew is a purebred Prince Andrew toy English Spaniel. I am about 10 mos old and quite friendly considering that I have spent my entire life in a kennel. I will need an adult home that has patience and wants a lovely young dog to brush and give lots of TLC to. I will become an extraordinary house pet, that's what I was bred to be. I am very handsome and have the most beautiful coat and colors. I am about 14 lbs. Andrew has a real home, now.

I am a young purebred male BRUSSELS GRIFFON. I am a very cute young dog who will blossom in a home with loving owners and a lot of TLC. I now have a home instead of a kennel.

OREO, Lab Mix, Female
Oreo is a female Lab mix puppy. She has a brother who looks just like her. Funny, cheerful, fat and very cute. She is 12 weeks old and now has a wonderful home!

Mom is a purebred Yellow Labrador and Dad is a traveling salesman These 9 week old puppies ( 1/05/08) all found loving and wonderful homes. Whew!
